Piastri says McLaren’s warning is fair over turn four move on Norris.

Piastri says McLaren’s warning is fair over turn four move on Norris. Piastri said he took McLaren’s complaint about his “big balls” move on Norris on the chin.
The dive on Norris, engineer Tom Stallard had told him, was too risky. Piastri had attempted to hunt down Norris for much of the first stint. He had been hammering away, kept trying to get by, and finally he dove in, at turn four on lap 20. He wound up and nearly nailed Norris. They had already collided in Canada, and the team told Piastri to not let that happen again.

Stallard said on the radio that the move by four was too close. “We can’t take that chance again,” Stallard said. After the race, Piastri conceded that the pass had been an overambitious one.Stalllard advised: “Sorry about turn four, my bad.” Piastri said he wouldn’t have attempted it again, whether or not he had been warned.
During a press conference, he said the criticism was fair.He conceded that locking up and almost hitting Norris was a step too far, He also said he knew it was not smart to attempt it again. Norris admitted he was glad to have put the Canada clash behind them, and he hoped they wouldn’t crash again. He added that he wished the Canada crash never took place but “loved” the close fight in Austria.
